Brine Shrimp Who Are You? What are the prerequisites for giving lived brine shrimp every day?

0. Before you start

Before hatching brine shrimp, what kind of person is brine shrimp and why they are good food for fish, and especially why live brine shrimp should be given. Lastly, how to hatch and feed live brine shrimp every day, I would like to write a summary of my experience and the data I googled.

Most of the photos and videos were taken by myself, but some photos and references were specified, and I will delete them if there is a problem.

1. Brine Shrimp Who are you?

The English name for brine shrimp is Brain Shrimp, and the scientific name is Artemia salina, a species of aquatic crustacean that inhabits Ex. Great Salt Lake. It has 3 eyes and 11 pairs of legs.

It grows up to about 15 mm (0.6 inches) when it grows at its maximum, and the peculiarity is that it has not changed for 100 million years, so it is clear that it has tremendous vitality and fertility. The picture below shows Artemia Salina. The image and scientific name of the appearance seem to say that it is an alien life that was dispatched from the distant Andromeda. Anyway, I was very interested because it was good for all fish.

It is said to live mainly in saltwater lakes, but when I look at the brine shrimp I purchased, a similar map is found.

Somehow the price is high and there is a reputation for the good hatching rate. Anyway I bought this.

Below is the Sanders brine shrimp I bought. You can see the actual map above. It's been manufactured since 1950, so I think it's a product you can trust.

3. Why are live brine shrimp (live brine) good for fish?

Live brine shrimp, or raw beef, is said to be good because it maintains the "yolk yolk" and is particularly good for fish. In particular, freshly hatched brine shrimp (Active young) is in the state before consuming yolk, so this is the most nutritious state. In conclusion, hatching takes about 24 hours, so Lived Brine Shrimp hatched 24 hours after boiling the brine is the best. As time passes, the brine shrimp eats yolk and grows and grows in size, which is important. It will gradually disappear after eating too...
The picture below is a brine shrimp larvae, and you can see that the central part is the yolk and the orange color from the waist to the tail appears to eat the yolk and go down to the digestive system. Below, it is presumed to be a little past after hatching. (Naupliar stages)

When I get a microscope later, I'll observe the larvae after 24 hours to check the yolk. ㅋ If the microscope is expensive, it is difficult.

Egg yolk generally loses a lot when frozen.

“In conclusion, we need a live brine shrimp”

However, since I know that giving a lived brine shrimp every day is a fight against myself with a lot of time and effort, I started thinking about how to make and give a live brine shrimp every day in a convenient and convenient way.

The "prerequisites to be able to give lived brine shrimp every day" I thought are as follows.

1) Make small hatching possible. -> Need an incubator that can hatch only a small amount

2) Quick and short time installation and removal work should be simple -> Installation is expected in about 1 minute and removal work in about 5 minutes

3) Use the current fishing port simply without the need for a separate space. -> Must be installed inside the fish tank

4) It should be pretty in terms of aesthetics -> It should be pretty because it should be installed in an ornamental fish tank

I found a way to satisfy the above conditions, and look forward to the next episode.

Thank you for reading through the long post.
